Emberwild Saga

Emberwild Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your time without dumbing itself down. Battles are turn-based, you queue up actions, and the real thinking happens in how you build your small party rather than in button mashing.

The writing carries it. Side characters have their own quiet arcs, and the main quest doesn't drown you in lore dumps. I found myself reading dialogue I'd normally skip.

Progression is generous. You unlock abilities at a steady clip, and grinding is optional rather than forced. The one weak spot is the inventory screen, which feels cramped on smaller phones.
